Okay, I normally wouldn’t post something like this. But there’s a teeny story associated with it.
I’ve seen Brad Paisley in concert twice in the past few years, and he plays this video over the song when he sings it live. I have always LOVED how Andy Griffith plays the old guy in it, and I get so emotional every time I hear this song. It’s so incredibly sweet, and it gets me thinking about who will be waitin’ on me.
When I heard of Andy’s passing earlier today, I couldn’t help but think of this song and it seems like so much more now. You know that he’s waitin’ on his woman.
